Glenn Funk is a veteran trial attorney with 29 years of experience in the courtroom. He has been a special prosecutor, an assistant district attorney, a public defender, and an attorney in private practice. He is ready to put this experience to work and give the people of Davidson County the courtroom representation that they deserve from their District Attorney.

Glenn believes in public service, fairness and justice for all. He is running for district attorney because he cares about Nashville and the people that live here. He is committed to fighting to make our communities safe, standing up for what is right, and giving victims the justice that they deserve.

Congratulations to the team at the Jean Crowe Advocacy Center on their official opening and ribbon cutting ceremony which was held September 25, 2014 at the Ben West Building. The Jean Crowe Advocacy Center is Nashville’s new family justice center that will serve as a place where domestic violence victims can get assistance as they go through the Davidson County court systems. In addition to several new services and programs, the center includes a number of meeting rooms for assistant district attorneys to meet with victims, outside of the courtroom and the defendant’s presence. The District Attorney's Office is proud to assist in this important new initiative to enhance the safety of Nashville residents.

You Have the Power-Victims Rights Walk (11 photos) ...

Members of the District Attorney's Office took time this weekend to show support for victims' rights by participating in the Walk Off Crime for No More Victims event. The Walk is sponsored by the victims rights group, You Have The Power. Founder of You Have the Power and Former First Lady of Tennessee Andrea Conte, 2014 Walk Chair Diane Lance, Special Counsel to the Mayor, District Attorney Glenn Funk, and former District Attorney Tory Johnson led the Fifth Annual Walk from the John Seigenthaler bridge through the streets of downtown Nashville. For the past five years, the event has motivated men and women to confront social ills such as child sexual abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse.
